Killing In The Name - Rage Against The Machine
Good music to listen to at this time of day.
What Jay-Z says at 44:27 to 46:00 sums up my opinion on music that I’ve been attempting to express to my friend but for some reason I couldn’t really put into words.
(So she should watch this specifically (cough cough) even if she doesn’t like who says it. )
It took longer than it should have but I finally got my roommates hooked on The Black Keys. Whoo!
Tomorrow is Nov. 1 which means:
-40 Days until the finals, the scariest part of every semester.
Which means the fall semester is almost over, and it seems like it barley started.
-36 Days til El Camino, I’ll be listening to this non stop during finals.

Hacienda - She’s Got a Hold on Me
Texas band, Hacienda is not a “new band” anymore, but still good old rock music with some blues roots.

I made a playlist for my road-trip home, it had The Antlers, Cults, Bon Iver, The Kills and others. I was really excited since I hadn’t heard these guys’ albums in full yet. But I didn’t even play it, I just listened to Black Keys the whole way there.
Hold Me In Your Arms by The Black Keys from the Thickfreakness album.
This song may be my favorite Black Keys song, definitely in the top 5. Mostly because of the intro to the song.
Can’t no preacher man save my soul.
The Civil Wars
Barton Hollow
The Civil Wars, composed of Joy Williams and John Paul White. John Paul White reminds me of Jack White and Johnny Depp.
